PRESS : Using a charanga line-up as its base, Van Van added trombones and vocals, and was the first Cuban group to use synthesizers and drum machines. Their sound was a fusion of changui and son montuno with various types of music, including Afro-Cuban rhythms, rock, funk, disco, and hip hop. They won a Grammy (Havana Caliente LLC. Atlantic Recording Co) and a latin Grammy Awards in 2005.

NAIF's voice is light and intense, her personality is spicy. Her shows are an explosion of stylistic freshness, where music and art come together to provide an ever-changing feast for all senses. Along with her eclectic and multi-talented band, NAIF has played in some of the best European Festivals (LuccaSummerFestival, FIMUBelfort, ArezzoWave, TavagnascoRock, SaisonCulturelle, RockauFort...). In 2007 she was lucky enough to be invited in the USA to work with TOMMY BARBARELLA , historical musician of Prince and other world-famous artists (MICHAEL BLAND , SONNY THOMPSON...). In 2006 she jammed on stage with the great MACEO PARKER at the Blue Note Club in Milan. The following year she opened for Ms LAURYN HILL at the Lucca Summer Festival.

The Superamazoo are expert musicians with different personalities and sensibilities. They come from Belgium and produced by Gambeat, bassist of MANU CHAO, RADIO BEMBA. Their secret is the musical contamination: psycho-garage guitar, beats electro-dub, woodwinds with jazz echoes, tribal percussions, MC human beat-box and soul French song. The energy and the atmosphere during their concerts are the reasons of the collaboration between Superamazoo and La Phaze, and also of Roy Paci and Kinky Beat’s participation to the first Superamazoo’s album, “Competences Universelles”, coming out soon.

Gose are an Arrasate-Mondragón (Basque Country) based trio formed by Ines Osinaga (singer and accordion, ex Ekon), Iñaki Bengoa (percusion and programming, ex Bad f-Line amongst other projects) and Osoron (guitarist and bassist, and member of Gatillazo). Gose began their silent journey in 2004, as a result of the trio’s sharing of musical ideas. The band merge accordion with electronic. Since their debut, the band have been    experiencing several changes linked to creation process and this second album is a reflection of these changes. Gose has a great talent for writing songs and ability for making them catchy and for merging electronic and Basque culture. On the pretext of keeping accordion tradition alive, they give pleasure but they also aim at turning everything upside down. Gose always care about the song’s elegance. They pretend to break with tradition, combine the strategies, face seriousness and reflect endlessly. You crave for “Gose” (the word means hunger in Basque). By merging accordion and electronic, Gose creates warm, raw, mild atmospheres and dance rhythms. FIRST ALBUM « What doesn’t kill you… » out on October 8th 2008 on Banzaï Lab records
United Fools is a live electro-instrumental group of 6 musicians, a computer electro music programmer and Mc Youthstar (UK). The band has come a long way developing a large repertoire of “World grooves” in which you can find cool world-jazz background music and crazy electro-rock songs. Each concert is a trip, a combination of music from all over the world (India, the Balkans, America…) offering a rainbow of sounds and visual effects. The pure original sound of wind instruments and strings merged into the hypnotising beat of machines and percussion. To situate this group in the sphere of today’s music, United Fools can be next to Cinematic orchestra, Herbaliser, Asian Dub Foundation, Amon Tobin, Sayag Jazz Machine… Since it’s creation, United Fools has performed over a 100 times and has built a strong collective identity and reinforced its experience on stage with bands like Young Blood Brass band (USA), Zion Train (UK), Shri (India/UK), MardiGras Brassband (Ger), Percubaba (Fr), Brain Damage (Fr), Brooklyn Funk Essentials (USA) and is always warmly welcomed by an enthusiastic public. United Fools recently toured Turkey (in March 2008) where they performed in Ankara (If Performance Hall), Istanbul (Roxy Club) and Izmir (closure of European Izmir Jazz Festival). They have also performed in Slovenia and Hungary.
